My time in Paris was short but productive and when you are shooting all day (more to my editorials soon) a good base is much needed – thanks so much to the Renaissance la Defense for having me! What’s the best thing about hotel rooms? Yaaas, the in room dining and the huge beds, which the Marriott group takes very serious. They welcomed me with refreshments and super cute balloons saying ‘HEY’ – perfect for photos!
Pack – repack – unpack – repack – pack … that’s how my summer looked this year. I was lucky to have so many flights and travels and I’m happy to now share my collaboration with Victorinox which I had troughout the months. My travel buddies are the Etherius carry On in gold (buy it here) and the Etherius large (buy it here). I was a big fan of suitcases made out of fabric and was a bit sceptic about the hardcase but Victorinox proved me wrong.
As we’re growing older we’re looking for more suistainable buys – products that will last and classics that we can combine with everything. A true classic is definitely, as you can hear already in the name, the Classics Delight from Frederique Constant. I had the chance to work with them and wore two of their watches the last three months while traveling. Checking the time has never been so stylish!
The last months were full of travels – I was at home for 1 week the last 6 weeks, that’s definitely a new record. I flew to Mallorca with my cousin aka sister from another mister and enjoyed a well deserved one week off – without taking pictures. After that I joined my photo students group (for those who keep asking: I am studying photography at the Munich university of applied sciences) who stayed in the eastern part of the island.
