I just arrived in Berlin and I’m now editing the last photos from Paris. I shot this outfit in the heart of Paris: at the Palais Royale. I’m wearing a True Religion flared jeans, a Zara top and coat and sunnies from Dubai. I hope you like it! And by the way I just started with Snapchat: You can follow my journey here: @viva_lamoda.
with marriott in paris
As you probably have seen on my instagram I’ve been to Paris again with Marriott as I’m one of their european brand ambassadors this year. They opened a new hotel in the Marais area: the Renaissance Paris Republique (here). I arrived around 11am on Thursday and we enjoyed a bike ride with the Marriott guide (you can see the bike on the second picture, how cute’s it?) to our lunch spot. I had avocado chicken and chocolate crumble which was sooo good! Afterwards it unfortunately started raining and we biked through the rain like a typical tourist group – with raincoats on. We visited a museum and a parfumerie in the neighborhood and got back to the hotel around 6pm, I checked into my room and we took part of the opening party. The jacuzzi at the rooftop with views over Paris was definitely a highlight! I was very surprised that the spa area in the ground floor was huge – a great way to spend a rainy Paris afternoon in. Thanks to Marriott for having me and I will soon let you know where we’re going next.
shades of grey
Right now I’m in Paris and it’s raining so I wanted to show you the photos we took last week. For this outfit I combined my favorite boyfriend sweater with a white skirt, my Aly Shea bag, Asos heels and Fendi sunglasses.
I’m busy …
I don’t know if it’s because I grew up in the mountains and the grass is always greener on the other side – beeing at the beach just makes me feel complete. I really don’t know how to describe it – it’s an overwhelming feeling I just have with my love, waterfalls and beaches. I can walk it up and down for hours and when I was at the beautiful beaches of Rottnest Island in Australia I nearly started crying. I get nostalgic every time I think of it and wonder if I’m the only person that’s so obsessed with that. I’ve seen the desert, pinneacles, mountains, rainforests, palaces and the highest buildings but non of them gives me that feeling. Maybe you have seen the beautiful sunset I captured at the Dubai beach (here) and I could do that for ages. Even though I have huge respect of the ocean: give me salt in the air, wind in the hair and feet in the crushing waves and I’m happy.
