zürich with baur au lac

Location: Zürich

Our stay at the @bauraulac was magical, we had the best time in Zürich. The Baur Au Lac is located next to the lake, the old town and busiest shopping streets. So everything you look for is close and you can easily walk around. We had the chance to stay in a junior suite which was waaay bigger then we expected. We had a huge bathroom facing the canal with marble shower and bathtub. The rooms are kinda the style of hotel rooms I like: artsy, art-deco but with a modern twist like the tablet you can use to make reservations at the restaurants, order room service or a different pillow every night. We tought it couldn’t get any better but when we saw the breakfast on the next morning we were truly in heaven. It’s served in a pavilion and they have eggs benedict, pancakes with the best apple puree you’ll ever eat and the best hot chocolate. Speaking about food we also had the chance to eat at their restaurant Rive Gauche and enjoyed chicken and gambas as well as a variation of deserts and my friend Larissa fell in love with the Creme Brulee she still talks about 🙂 The hotel team also showed us the fitness center and bigger suites facing the lake (you can see them in the pictures). All in all it was a perfect stay with high class food and service and we would like to come back! Thank you very much Baur Au Lac for the experience!

isbael marant pants and gucci bag

Location: Zürich

I found Soho in Zürich, Switzerland! We walked around the Bahnhofstraße in Zürich and I saw this beautiful store looking exactly like the ones in Manhattan. Was so happy about that and we immediately shot an outfit in collaboration with Deichmann there. I’m wearing my new Isabel Marant Harem pants (bought in sale), Gucci bag, Free People jacket, Mango pullover, VIU sunglasses, Socosi bracelet, Chanel ring and of course my new Deichmann sneakers. I think they are a very good budget alternative to the designer sneakers. I wish you a beautiful start into the week!

priva lodge

Location: Vaz/Obervaz

When we arrived at the Priva Lodge we were driving trough a snow storm and had no idea how the landscape around the hotel was. On the next day we were suprised by sunshine and a beautiful view over the hotel area. Our apartment had a kitchen and sauna which was great. We walked to the lift station which is only 5 minutes away and bought a ticket for 42,- to get to the top. From there I had the most amazing view ever over thousands of mountains and even the hotel which you can see in the far distance. Unfortunately our stay was really short, so we didn’t made it to the frozen lake next to the hotel or sledding or skiing. There are also tons of activities you can do, I heard of art themed sculpure parks and cross-country skiing, iceskating and winter hikes. I think the view from the Rothorn Gipfel must be amazing in summer as well and I would love to come back. We also enjoyed a traditional cheese and chocolate fondue in a small cottage located in the middle of the hotel area. Mhhh, this was sooo good! I would say the Priva Lodge is perfect when you’re traveling with your family but for me personally there was too much action in the pool area and the service and maps were a bit confusing. I think it’s the perfect hotel if you love winter sports and I would love to visit in summer again.

arrived in paradise

Location: Scuol

When we arrived at the Hotel Paradies in Ftan, at the east end of Switzerland, we immediately fell in love with the small town and the view of the hotel. It is located on a small hill surrounded by the mountains and facing the sun in winter. They upgraded us to a Grandes Suite, thanks so much for that. At the first day we enjoyed the wellness area: the dutch tubs located at the rooftop, jacuzzi and saunas. On the next day we explored the neighborhood and walked around the small village Ftan, I’m gonna show you even more photos from it because it’s like walking trough a village from 1950, not as touristic as you think, with cows and chicken walking around. One of the concierges was so kind and took us to a little sightseeing tour to Scuol wich is a 5 min drive away. From the hotel you can also walk to the lift station (or take th hotel transfer) and go skiing or snowboarding. We were too lazy and enjoyed the food all day (it felt like that haha) because it was just toooo good. Daniel Stütz and his team introduced us to Austrian/French and Swiss cuisine, the Kaiserschmarrn, scrambled eggs and scampi were the best I ever had! Thanks so much to the team of the Hotel for an unforgettable 4 day stay and from all the places in Switzerland I have to say I love this the most because it’s not crowded or busy.
